The game does not offer standard shooter spawn and cheap equipment. Each raid starts with a limited set, death means losing everything collected. Inventory is strictly limited by volume and weight. In this format, the difference between an experienced and new player is fundamental: one raid with zero extractions sets progress back by several hours.

In structure, Arc Raiders is closest to The Cycle: Frontier (same PvPvE, similar raid scheme) and Hunt: Showdown (limited zone, several teams with a common task, high price of error). But Embark Studios added its own features: ARCs are not a passive background threat, but active AI opponents that react to sound, coordinate, and can unexpectedly escalate the situation at the most inappropriate moment. This creates a three-way dynamic: you hunt for loot, ARCs hunt for you, and other raiders hunt for you and ARCs simultaneously.

It is precisely this multi-layered nature that makes information advantage key. In a linear PvP shooter, a cheat helps in direct fire contact. In Arc Raiders, a cheat changes the entire raid strategy: where to go, who to bypass, when to move to extraction.

How extraction mechanics work and where critical points arise

Each raid in Arc Raiders follows one scheme: landing, collection, extraction. Sounds simple, but each of the three stages carries its own risks. On landing, several teams simultaneously end up in the zone, and the first minutes determine who manages to occupy key loot points. Collection is accompanied by constant pressure from ARCs that react to player activity. Extraction is competitive: there are fewer exit points than teams, and on the final stretch of the path they often intersect.

Loot in Arc Raiders does not lie in plain sight. Valuable components, rare materials, and top-tier equipment details spawn by algorithm with a high degree of randomization. Two players of the same skill level entering one zone from different sides can get fundamentally different results simply due to spawn luck. This creates built-in inequality that many compensate through Loot ESP.

Final extraction is the most tense moment of the raid. Teams that avoided each other throughout the raid end up in one place simultaneously. A player with a full inventory has the highest incentive to leave alive, and simultaneously competitors have the highest incentive to stop them. Radar and ESP at this moment give an advantage that is difficult to overestimate: understanding where all participants are before fire contact began.

EasyAntiCheat in Arc Raiders: how protection works

Arc Raiders uses EasyAntiCheat, one of the most widely used anti-cheats in the industry. EAC operates at the operating system kernel level (kernel-mode driver), which gives it the ability to scan running processes, read the list of loaded modules, track attempts to read and write to game memory, and check game file integrity.

Public cheats from open sources fall under EAC detection, typically within several days after release. Signatures of known injectors and hooks enter the EAC database as they spread. That is precisely why "free" cheats from forums are almost always either already detected or are malware masquerading as a loader.

Private cheats use a different approach. They do not use standard injection methods that EAC monitors as a priority. External overlay components (radar, part of ESP functions) work through a separate process without direct interaction with Arc Raiders memory. The frequency of EAC signature database updates is not tied to the game's own patches: EAC can update detection at any moment. • Smooth (aiming smoothness) — the higher the value, the less sharp the acquisition looks on recording; we recommend 8-15 for legit play
• Target priority — by distance, by health level, or by opponent type (live player / ARC)
• Trigger bot — automatic shot when target is in crosshair without button press

We recommend rage aim in Arc Raiders only on the final stretch before extraction, when stealth no longer makes sense and there is one task: clear the zone and exit. In solo raid or stealth playthrough, legit aim with high smooth value works better.

ESP and Loot Wallhack: what a raider with a cheat sees

Wall ESP in Arc Raiders fundamentally changes zone perception. A player without a cheat enters a building not knowing: is it empty inside, or is a raider camped there. A player with ESP sees the opponent's position, their view direction, and approximate health level even before entering the door. In multi-story buildings, of which there are many in Arc Raiders, this means precise understanding of the threat's vertical location.

The fundamental difference from outdated overlays: there is no direct interaction with the Arc Raiders process that EasyAntiCheat monitors first.

The radar displays positions of all live raiders and nearest ARCs within a set distance radius. Updates occur in real-time with minimal delay. This is especially important during movement: one glance at the overlay is enough to understand the overall zone picture without turning the character camera.

Scenarios where Arc Raiders radar is most useful. First: final stretch before extraction. When several teams simultaneously move to the exit point, the radar allows choosing the moment for a dash or occupying a position with advantage. Second: combing multi-story buildings with several floors and stairs, where ESP is inconvenient in dynamics. Third: retreat from a hot zone with valuable loot, when you need to understand not only where opponents are now, but also in which direction they are moving.

Overlay settings: map scale, background transparency, color schemes for different marker types, display radius.

Why Arc Raiders has such high interest in cheats

Extraction shooters historically generate greater demand for cheats than classic PvP formats. The reason is simple: risk asymmetry. In a standard match, loss means losing the match. In an extraction shooter, loss means losing all equipment that the player collected over several raids. At the same time, encountering a cheater on the final stretch before extraction deprives the victim of both accumulated loot and time spent on the raid.

Arc Raiders adds PvPvE specificity to this. A new player immediately faces two types of threats: ARCs with aggressive AI and live raiders with combat experience. The learning curve is steep, the first dozens of raids for many are a series of equipment losses without progress accumulation.
