A DMA cheat for ARC Raiders pays for itself in one narrow case: an account with real progress, months of regular play, and a second computer already sitting at home. Any other situation and you are paying in hardware and setup hours for what a normal external build gives you at four dollars a day. Our ARC Raiders catalog holds nineteen entries, two of them DMA kits, and what separates them from the rest is not "external versus internal" but which physical device does the reading of game memory.

Everything below we looked at on patch 1.42.0 from 18 August 2026, after Embark split the Map Conditions schedule by region and strict matchmaking stopped putting level 40 players into lobbies with newcomers.

What a DMA cheat is and how it differs from an external overlay

DMA stands for direct memory access. A board with an FPGA goes into the gaming computer, connects to the PCIe bus and reads RAM directly. The rest happens on the second machine: it takes the raw data, parses the game structures and draws ESP on its own monitor. On the machine running ARC Raiders, no extra process starts and no driver loads.

That is where the real difference sits, and articles about cheats usually get it wrong. Our normal ARC Raiders builds are external too: they draw an overlay in a separate window and write nothing into the game process. But the code that reads memory still runs on the same Windows install where EasyAntiCheat runs. With DMA that code physically lives on other hardware. So the question is not "external software or internal" but whether the gaming PC reads its own memory or the box next to it does.

What a DMA build actually shows

CLUTCH ARC DMA covers the whole extraction toolkit. Player ESP draws boxes, skeleton, health and distance. ARC robots sit on a separate layer, so a Tick pack behind a wall and a Rocketeer on a roof do not blend with live raiders into one soup of markers. Loot is labeled with its price and there is a rarity filter. Containers show their contents before you walk up to them, and extraction points are visible ahead of time. Stream proof against OBS recording is there, Windowed, Borderless and Fullscreen modes are supported, and the system needs Windows 10 or 11.

The product page lists the requirements plainly: a DMA card, firmware for EAC and a second machine. These are not suggestions, and without all of them the kit will not start. NF MASTER PACK DMA is built on the same hardware, the difference being subscription price and module set.

Where a radar gives you the most, and where almost nothing

How much any radar is worth in ARC Raiders changes from map to map. On Buried City, with its tight corridors and multi-level buildings, an enemy skeleton through a floor decides the fight: engagements there start at two meters and the player who knew first wins. The Spaceport, with long industrial spans, is a different scenario, where distance and a pre-marked exit route matter more. On Stella Montis and its seven hundred odd markers, loot ESP saves most of your time: the Medical Research to Assembly Workshops run goes through without blind room-by-room searching.

On the starter map Dam Battlegrounds, though, DMA is close to pointless. Newcomers play there, loot spawns forgive mistakes, and the gap between an expensive kit and a plain ESP at four dollars a day barely shows in the result. If your play session ends on the first map, there is no reason to buy a second computer.

What DMA does not cancel out

Clearing software traces off the gaming machine is only half the problem. EasyAntiCheat runs at kernel level and does its part, but on top of it Embark runs machine learning models trained on a stream of live player telemetry. In the official "Ensuring Fair Play" material the studio names input telemetry analysis as one of its most productive detection methods and mentions a partnership with the company Anybrain. That layer does not look at files in memory. It looks at how the mouse moves and how a player reacts when a target appears.

A radar on a second monitor does not spoil input telemetry directly, since you still aim by hand. What it does change is your behavior in the match, and lobby neighbors read that. A player who steps around a corner exactly on the timing of someone else's loot, never checks empty houses and walks to the hatch along a route where nobody should be audible collects reports faster than average. Proximity chat is on by default, a report takes two clicks, and after the Headwinds update a level 40 account only lands in lobbies full of veterans who read other people's routes at a glance. We are not going to sell DMA as total invulnerability: the hardware removes the software layer of detection and leaves the behavioral one alone.

The math: what DMA costs and what a normal build costs

Counting by the month is easier, since almost every subscription in the catalog converges there. Prices on the day of publication look like this.

Judged by the subscription alone, DMA does not look expensive. A month of CLUTCH ARC DMA is $35, a month of ANCIENT is $40, so on paper DMA is cheaper. The whole difference hides in the lines missing from that table: the board is bought separately, a second computer is needed in full, and the EAC firmware has to be flashed and tested. Plus time. The first launch is not "downloaded the loader, pressed start" but assembling a rig where something is guaranteed not to work on the first try.

When the second machine pays for itself

The threshold makes sense when losing the account costs more than the hardware. We see four situations where buyers pick DMA deliberately and do not regret it afterwards.

  • An account with real progress: hundreds of hours, a chunk of the seventy odd blueprints unlocked, Stella Montis access from level 25, gear piled up. A profile like that does not come back in one season, and the "keep the gaming machine completely clean" logic turns rational.
  • Regular play over months: the $650 lifetime plan on CLUTCH ARC DMA beats the monthly subscription after roughly a year and a half of unbroken renewals. If you are on your third season of ARC Raiders and plan to go into Frozen Trail, that payback window is real.
  • You already own a second PC: an old tower, a work machine, a laptop with a capture card. The most expensive part of the equation is settled, leaving the board and the subscription.
  • A firm rule about a clean gaming machine: some people simply refuse to keep foreign software on their main system, whatever the math says. That reason holds up, and DMA answers it better than the alternatives.

When it is money wasted

The opposite case shows up more often. Most of our ARC Raiders orders go to normal private builds, and in those cases DMA would be an overpayment.

  • A fresh profile for a single season: nothing to lose, and remaking the account is cheaper than building a rig.
  • Weekend play: two evenings a week never add up to the hours it takes for hardware to earn itself back.
  • No second computer: buying a whole second machine for ESP turns $35 into a number of a different order.
  • A one-off task: grabbing specific blueprints in The Blue Gate, closing one route on Stella Montis, pushing progress to the level you need. People buy a daily plan for that, not a rig.

What to pick for ARC Raiders for this task

Below are the scenarios in order of rising entry threshold. Statuses are given as of publication and change after patches.

  • Full DMA kit: CLUTCH ARC DMA at $9.50 for 3 days, $17.50 a week, $23 for two weeks, $35 a month or $650 lifetime. Status undetected, player and ARC robot ESP on separate layers, priced loot, containers with contents, extraction shown early, stream proof against OBS.
  • The second DMA build for comparison: NF MASTER PACK DMA at $30 a week and $70 a month, also undetected. Hardware requirements are the same, so both pages are worth opening before you buy a board.
  • The cheap way in without a second PC: ANCIENT at $4 a day, $20 a week and $40 a month. External overlay in its own window, built in spoofer, stream proof against OBS, adjustable smoothing in the aimbot. It runs on one machine in windowed mode, Windows 10 version 1903 and above or Windows 11.
  • Radar hack without an aimbot: ARCANE RADAR at $4 for 3 days, $18 for two weeks and $35 a month. It never touches your crosshair, but it gives you a player table with weapons and health, a route in one click and container ESP. When the request sounds like "I want to see, but without auto aim", the choice between a DMA radar and ARCANE RADAR comes down to hardware and money rather than features: their marker sets are comparable.

Common questions about ARC Raiders cheats

Can a DMA cheat run on a single computer?

No. The point of the setup is that memory reading happens on a separate device, while parsing and ESP rendering happen on the second machine. The CLUTCH ARC DMA page lists a DMA card, EAC firmware and a second computer in its requirements outright. If there is no second PC, the ForgeCheats catalog has normal external builds from $4 a day that work on one system.

Does DMA guarantee you will not get banned?

It does not, and we do not promise that. The setup takes the software off the gaming machine, but the behavioral detection layer stays: Embark's models parse input telemetry, the Anybrain partnership is running, and the ban ladder goes 30 days, 60 days, permanent. Add reports from live players, who in level 40+ lobbies spot odd routes quickly. Playing with a radar calls for more care, not more nerve.

How is a DMA radar different from ARCANE RADAR?

Their marker sets are close: players, ARC robots, loot, containers, extraction points. The difference is where the code runs and what it costs in total. ARCANE RADAR starts on the gaming machine as an overlay and goes from $4 for three days, while DMA needs a board and a second PC. How long does the first DMA setup take?

From what our buyers report, the first launch eats an evening, sometimes two. Time goes into seating the board in the PCIe slot, flashing EAC firmware, setting up the link between machines and matching resolution for the ESP output. After that every following start takes minutes. A normal build like ANCIENT comes up through the loader in a couple of minutes on the very first run, and that is part of the difference in entry cost.

What is cheaper over the long haul?

Counting the subscription alone, CLUTCH ARC DMA at $35 a month is cheaper than ANCIENT at $40 and much cheaper than NF MASTER PACK DMA at $70. Add the hardware and the normal external build wins over a horizon of up to a year. For most buyers the break even point falls in the second season of regular play, and before that the extra spend on a rig does not justify itself.
