This guide brings together the launch process for all Ancient software in the ForgeCheats catalog: eleven products across different games, including ANCIENT RADAR for Arena Breakout and ANCIENT CHAMS for Escape From Tarkov. All Ancient products share the same preparation and launch principle - the only difference is which overlay works for your game.
The download link for your specific product's loader arrives in your ForgeCheats account right after payment - it is not and cannot be included in this article, access is only available through the buyer's account.
Games for which Ancient software is available: Rust, PUBG, Delta Force, Arena Breakout, Escape From Tarkov, Fortnite, Hunt: Showdown, Battlefield 6, Rainbow Six Siege, ARC Raiders and Unturned.

Section A. Overlay Setup for Menu Display
The Ancient software menu is drawn on top of the game through a game overlay - without it, the menu physically will not appear, even if the injection succeeds. Which overlay to choose depends on the game and your GPU.
For ARC Raiders, Delta Force, and Rust - SteelSeries or NVIDIA App
These two options work in fullscreen mode, unlike Medal and Discord (see below). If you have an AMD graphics card, only SteelSeries will work - NVIDIA App works exclusively with NVIDIA cards.
SteelSeries
- Download SteelSeries GG.
- In the settings, go to GENERAL → General and enable Sonar.
- Go to the SONAR → Shortcuts tab and bind
F7to Master - Volume Up. - Press this key before every injection - without it, the overlay will not activate.
NVIDIA App
- Download NVIDIA App.
- Open the settings, go to the General section, and enable IN-GAME OVERLAY.
For the Other Games - Medal TV or Discord
For PUBG, Arena Breakout, Escape From Tarkov, Fortnite, Hunt: Showdown, Battlefield 6, Rainbow Six Siege, and Unturned, fullscreen mode is not supported by either Medal or Discord - use windowed or borderless mode instead.
Medal TV
- Download Medal and sign up.
- Users from Russia may need a VPN to download and use it.
Discord
- In Discord settings, open the "Game Overlay" section.
- Enable the overlay, disable Legacy Overlay, and enable Hardware Acceleration - all toggles in this section should be turned on.
If the message "No suitable overlay" appears in-game, turn the overlay off and back on - this usually fixes the problem.
Section B. Key Activation and Loader Launch
- Disable your antivirus - there's a detailed guide in the article How to Disable Windows Defender and Antivirus Before Running a Cheat.
- Launch the loader downloaded from your ForgeCheats account.
- Enter your activation key.
- Click Inject.
- After a successful injection, the loader will close automatically - you can launch the game.
The software menu opens with the Insert key.
For ANCIENT RADAR (Arena Breakout) and ANCIENT CHAMS (Escape From Tarkov), the launch process is exactly the same, with one difference: the radar and chams appear automatically after you enter the game - there's no need to open a menu for them separately.

"Please launch SteelSeries moment overlay" (for NVIDIA)
Turn the NVIDIA overlay off and back on.
"Please launch SteelSeries Sonar overlay" (for SteelSeries)
Press the SONAR bind (the F7 key) before launching - the overlay won't work without it.
The Menu Flickers or Black Screens Appear In-Game
Open SteelSeries → Settings → MOMENTS → Capture and Sound and disable "Allow Moments to capture while gaming".
"Please disable Intel Rapid Storage Technology"
Enter the BIOS/UEFI and disable Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST).
Overlay Bind Doesn't Work
Re-inject. If that doesn't help, run the overlay (SteelSeries, Discord, etc.) as administrator.
The Menu Doesn't Appear In-Game, or the Loader Closes Right After Opening
Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable - this is usually caused by missing libraries.
"Unsupported Firmware"
Convert the disk to GPT format (using mbr2gpt or another disk management tool) and switch the BIOS from Legacy mode to UEFI mode.
Error 0x296
Re-inject.
"Unknown network error"
This is a connection issue - check your internet connection and try again. If you're using a VPN, try disabling it or switching servers.
"Failed to allocate memory" / "Failed to map memory" - "Please reboot pc and try again"
The driver installed incorrectly - reboot your PC and try again. If you're at an internet cafe and the error repeats, try a different computer. If that doesn't help, clean up your startup programs: download Autoruns and disable all non-system startup entries - sometimes leftover drivers from already-uninstalled programs remain in the system.
"Failed to load dependencies" - "Make sure all antiviruses are disabled"
Turn off and remove absolutely all antiviruses and anti-cheats from your PC. If that doesn't help, clean up your startup programs (see the Autoruns section above).
"Please uninstall Vanguard/Faceit first"
Uninstall Vanguard and/or FACEIT from your computer and try again.
"AES instruction set is not supported"
Your CPU doesn't support the AES instruction set - this is a hardware limitation that can't be fixed with software.
"Please enable Intel VT-X/AMD-V in the BIOS"
Enter the BIOS and enable "Intel Virtualization Technology" / "Intel VT-X" (for Intel CPUs) or "AMD-V" / "SVM Mode" (for AMD CPUs).
"VMX/SVM is not supported"
Open "Control Panel" → "Programs and Features" → "Turn Windows features on or off" and make sure "Virtual Machine Platform" and Hyper-V are disabled.
If the error persists, open cmd as administrator and run the command:

Disable the spoofer, or disable RAID in the BIOS settings and perform a full Windows reinstall.
"CRD failed at XXX with code XXXXXXXX" / "Failed to init render"
On a desktop PC: your graphics card is too old and isn't supported. On a laptop: disable the integrated GPU in the BIOS.
"Incorrect HWID"
Open cmd as administrator and run the following commands one by one:
wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber
wmic baseboard get SerialNumberIf both commands ran without errors and the problem persists, something is wrong at the system level - try reinstalling Windows and check whether the issue remains.
