Wardogs Season 3 is set to start on November 12, going by a reply developer Joe Brammer (brammflakes) posted on Steam on October 23. Bulkhead has not confirmed the date in a Steam news post or on X yet, so read it as the developer's word, not an official announcement. If it holds, the next wipe lands less than a month after Season 2 began on October 15, far earlier than anyone planned for.
When the wipe hits, levels and cash reset. Leftover cash is converted into Gold Bars, and those carry over along with your cosmetics. Your cheat subscription is not tied to the season at all. To have a setup ready for day one, the current list of Wardogs cheats for Season 3 is on our hub with undetected status and prices, and we recheck each product against Elytra after every patch.
Wardogs Season 3 release date: what we actually know
Where the date and the surrounding plans stood at the end of October:
| Item | Date or detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Season 2 start | October 15, maintenance 08:00 to 09:30 UTC | Official patch notes |
| Season 3 start | November 12 | Developer reply on Steam, October 23; repeated by PCGamesN on October 25; no official post yet |
| Season 3 preview devblog | Promised for the week of October 26 | Not out at the time of writing |
| Season length from now on | About 3 months, with a mid-season update | Bulkhead podcast |
We will update this page once Bulkhead posts the date officially. Until then, plan around November 12 and don't be shocked if it moves by a few days.
Why Season 2 is ending so soon
Bulkhead admits Season 2 progression was a mistake. On October 17 the studio called the faster leveling "the wrong call" and said the wipe as a fresh start "never really landed". Some players had level 4 armor and main battle tanks within days.
The podcast numbers show how lopsided it got. Level 20 took 111,500 XP in Season 2, down from 250,000. On the first day of the season 44% of players were drivers, against 9% in Season 1, and the top quarter of players leveled 2.4 times faster. A driver role exploit made it worse: according to Bulkhead's podcast fewer than 400 players used it, yet tanks showed up in roughly 30 to 40% of matches. Press reports say the abusers were banned.
A quick re-wipe over the weekend of October 17 and 18 was ruled out as unfair to people who had already leveled. Instead, Season 3 and part of its content were pulled "significantly" forward, and Season 2 shrank to four or five weeks.
How big the playerbase is going into the wipe
Bulkhead's podcast The Hot Zone (episode 1, October 23) gave some scale: about 3.4 to 3.5 million players in Season 1 and 1.5 million logins in the first 24 hours of Season 2. On Steam, concurrent players peaked at 336,202 on October 15 and were down to 178,187 by October 22.
Season 2 features that may not make it to Season 3
A few things were announced as Season 2 content, and with the season cut short it is worth knowing which ones were tied to it. The Lonestar faction gets cash and XP bonuses in Season 2 only, and a team that falls 40 or more points behind second place gets a 20% discount at the trader. Respawns for all three factions on Bakurani were moved as part of it. The Wager Vendor, a betting vendor, was promised for later in Season 2. With four or five weeks in total, there is not much "later" left, and Bulkhead has not said whether it slides into Season 3.
Some Season 2 rules look permanent rather than seasonal. Team switching is now only restricted when a team leads by more than 10 points, you cannot switch again for 15 minutes after joining, and a mid-match join hides the map and locks the spawn vehicle until you first enter the zone. Teamkill victims vote Forgive or Punish, and punishments stack into kicks and longer bans. Nothing announced so far says these rules go away with the wipe, so check the Season 3 patch notes before assuming anything changed.
What the Season 3 wipe resets and what you keep
The wipe rules are the same ones Bulkhead uses for every season:
- Levels: back to the start for everyone.
- Cash: reset, with whatever is left converted into Gold Bars.
- Gold Bars: carry over between seasons.
- Cosmetics: carry over between seasons.
- Your cheat key: unaffected. The wipe resets account progress, not your subscription.
That last point matters if you bought a week or a month near the end of Season 2. We already covered how subscriptions behave around a wipe in our Season 2 wipe article, and none of it changes for Season 3.
Limited Mode: Season 3 servers without the heavy hitters
The other Season 3 feature people keep asking about is Limited Mode. Based on developer replies, these are servers without the "power" weapons and vehicles. On the podcast Bulkhead added that infrared gear will not be available there either. A full list of what gets cut has not been published.
For anyone running software, this reshuffles priorities. Vehicle ESP and vehicle aim lose most of their value when no tanks or attack helicopters are around. What's left is infantry fighting, and there player ESP and a radar do the heavy lifting: where a squad is pushing, who is behind which wall, who is already downed. If you plan to spend Season 3 in Limited Mode, a light ESP build with a good radar beats a full package you will only use half of. If you plan to split time between Limited Mode and regular servers, a tool that lets you switch vehicle layers off and keep player ESP and radar on gives you both setups without paying twice.
What Limited Mode does not change
Limited Mode changes the loadout, not the anti-cheat. Nothing Bulkhead has said points to different detection rules there, so plan as if Elytra and player reports work exactly as they do now. Whether the 175 ms ping cap applies to Limited Mode servers has not been spelled out yet. How the cap works today is in our article on the Wardogs ping limit and region lock.
Getting a cheat ready for the Season 3 wipe
A wipe puts everyone back at zero, and the first days decide who levels fastest. Which tool fits depends on how you plan to play the fresh start:
- Everything in one package on Windows 11: SYNESIS RUBY covers player and vehicle ESP, explosives and loot, a map overlay, two independent aim profiles and a mortar helper, and the overlay is streamproof. Windows 11 only. $7 a day, $20 a week, $40 a month.
- Loot runs and fast leveling: BYSTER has a detailed loot ESP with a filter for each category, plus aim that also works on enemies inside vehicles. Steam version, windowed mode, Windows 10 and 11 on builds 22H2 to 25H2. About $3 a day, $14 a week, $29 a month. Our BYSTER review goes through every setting.
- Limited Mode and quiet play: GHOST ESP has no aimbot. You get a standalone 2D radar, visible check coloring, loot and corpse ESP, and it stays hidden from OBS and Discord capture. Steam, windowed or borderless. From $2 a day, $12 a week, $24 a month.
- Already have a key: it keeps working through the wipe. Wait for our status update after the Season 3 patch before you launch.
The wipe is about progression only. If you want to know how bans work in this game, including the four hardware ban tiers, see our Wardogs HWID ban guide.
Before November 12
Every current option is listed on the Wardogs hacks page with status, supported Windows builds and prices. Once the Season 3 patch lands, we recheck each product and mark anything that needs work as Updating, so look at the status there before launching on day one. Wardogs Season 3 FAQ
When is the next wipe in Wardogs?
November 12, according to the developer's Steam reply on October 23. There is no official announcement yet, and a preview devblog was promised for the week of October 26. ForgeCheats will update this page if the date changes.
What gets reset in the Season 3 wipe?
Levels and cash. Leftover cash turns into Gold Bars. Gold Bars and cosmetics carry over into Season 3, the same as in previous wipes.
What is Limited Mode in Wardogs?
Planned Season 3 servers without the "power" weapons and vehicles, according to developer replies. Infrared gear will not be available there either. The full list of restrictions has not been published.
How long will Season 3 last?
Bulkhead says seasons after Season 2 will run about three months each, with a mid-season update. The Intel system, for comparison, is not expected until Q2 next year.
Do I need a new cheat key after the wipe?
No. The wipe resets your account progress, not your subscription, so a running key keeps its remaining time. Check the status of your product on our Wardogs cheat hub after the Season 3 patch before launching.
