Why flash a DMA card at all?

Stock firmware gives the board away through its device identifiers: the anti-cheat sees a memory-capture card in the slot. Emulated firmware swaps them, and to the system it is ordinary hardware.

Which firmware does my game need?

Check the game anti-cheat on the cheat page. EAC, BattlEye, MRAC and the Call of Duty anti-cheat are covered by the base firmware, ACE and Vanguard by the extended one. There is no firmware for VAC in CS2 and Deadlock, and those cheats run without it.

Is the firmware a one-time purchase?

No. The card is flashed once and updates are included in the price. It is worth checking the status for your game in Telegram before buying, because anti-cheats update more often than games do.

About firmware

Why change the firmware if the card is new?

Stock firmware honestly tells the system this is a developer board with direct memory access. The anti-cheat only has to read those identifiers to know everything. Emulated firmware passes the card off as an ordinary device.

Does one firmware cover all games?

No. Anti-cheats look at different traits, so firmware is built for specific families: EAC and BattlEye are one, ACE and VGK another. Each page lists what its version covers.

Will the firmware fit my card?

Check the compatibility block on the firmware page — the board models are listed there. If yours is not on the list, message us on Telegram before buying: some firmware is built for a specific revision.

Does the firmware need updating?

Yes, whenever an anti-cheat starts checking new traits. The update comes with the same purchase — you do not buy the board again.
