This guide covers launching software from the developer PySharp in the ForgeCheats catalog. Right now that is PYSHARP for Bodycam, an internal build: the cheat loads into an already running game and the menu opens over it.
The loader link and your license key arrive in your ForgeCheats dashboard right after payment. They are not in this article and cannot be, since access goes through the buyer dashboard only.
Step 1. Preparation
Check three things before the first launch.
- Windows 10 or 11, an Intel or AMD processor, x64
- The game starts from Steam and is set to Borderless Windowed in the graphics settings
- Your antivirus does not delete the loader. Windows Defender often removes the file silently, so add the loader folder to exclusions
If the antivirus already deleted the file, download it again after adding the exclusion. Do not run the loader from inside the archive, unpack it first.
Step 2. Game first, loader second
The order matters more than anything else here. Start Bodycam through Steam and wait until you are fully in the game. Only then start the loader. Do it the other way round and the menu will not appear.
Step 3. Running the loader
Run the downloaded file and wait for it to finish. The loader window prints lines about the initialization: errors are marked in red, so read them instead of closing the window straight away. While initialization is running, the window has to stay open.
Step 4. Key login
Once initialization succeeds, a login page opens. Enter the key from your ForgeCheats dashboard. After login the cheat menu opens.
Step 5. The in game menu
The menu shows and hides with the Insert key. You can also collapse it with the button in the top right corner of the window. Settings are split into three sections: Visuals, Combat and Misc. Social links and support open when you click the BODYCAM label in the top left corner of the menu.
If the menu did not open
Check in this order.
- The game is running and you are in it, not in the Steam menu
- Graphics settings are on Borderless Windowed, not fullscreen
- The loader was started after the game, not before
- The antivirus has not blocked the loader
- There are no red error lines in the loader window
Configs
Settings live in configs right in the menu. You can save the current one, load a saved one, and a reset brings back the defaults. That is handy when solo play and squad play need different setups: configure once, then switch with a single click.
Screen recording
The Misc section has a Stream Proof mode. With it the menu and overlay stay out of screen capture, so neither shows on a stream or a recording. Turn it on before you go live, not after.
If you find a bug
The developer asks for a short description of the problem, what you were doing at the time, any error message, screenshots and the pysharp.log file. The log sits in the game folder at Bodycam\Bodycam\Binaries\Win64 inside your Steam library. With that information the problem gets fixed faster.
Any other launch questions go to Telegram and Discord. We post software update statuses there as well.
