If Arena Breakout: Infinite just stopped you with a DMA Guard message about VT-d or IOMMU, your account is not banned. DMA Guard is a hardware check that wants a protection feature switched on in your BIOS: VT-d on Intel systems, IOMMU on AMD. Turn it on, reboot, and the game lets you in. The longer story, and the one that matters if you run or plan to buy a DMA cheat, is what Morefun added around it in the following weeks.
We follow these changes because we sell two DMA builds for ABI and need to know what they are up against. The current status of every build, DMA and regular, is on our Arena Breakout Infinite cheats hub. This article covers the DMA Guard window itself, who gets checked, the coordinate encryption and DMA hardware blacklist from the Season 6 Security Report, and what a DMA owner should do now.
The DMA Guard window: what it is asking for
DMA Guard is built on Windows Kernel DMA Protection, a Windows feature that limits what external devices can read from memory through direct memory access. Morefun said on July 31 that the feature was in testing and would ship with the August update, and its Operation Guide from August 5 described it as recently launched. When the check fires, the game tells you the required hardware features are not enabled on your system and names them: VT-d for Intel, IOMMU for AMD. You are expected to enable them in BIOS.
Morefun says the check does not affect performance or privacy. On a normal gaming PC with no extra hardware, enabling VT-d or IOMMU is a settings change and nothing more.
How to switch on VT-d or IOMMU
Menu names differ between motherboard vendors, so treat these as directions rather than exact paths:
- Reboot into BIOS or UEFI setup (usually Delete or F2 during boot) and switch to the advanced view if your board has a simplified one.
- On Intel boards, look for VT-d, often in the chipset, system agent or CPU configuration section, and set it to Enabled. Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) is a separate option; DMA Guard asks about VT-d.
- On AMD boards, look for IOMMU, often under AMD CBS or a north bridge section, and set it to Enabled rather than Auto if Auto keeps triggering the message.
- Save, reboot into Windows, and check System Information: the line Kernel DMA Protection should read On.
If you cannot find the toggle, check your motherboard manual or look for a BIOS update before assuming the board lacks it.
Who sees the check
Here the official wording and the forum rumors split. Some sites claim the game refuses to start for everyone without virtualization enabled. Morefun's own guide says the check targets accounts with an unusual login environment or potential risk first: frequent network changes, account sharing, logging in from a new device. A player on the same PC and home connection for months may never see the window. Someone who just moved to a new rig, plays from a laptop at a friend's place or shares an account with a sibling is the likely candidate.
That has a side effect worth knowing. Using a HWID spoofer changes how your device looks to ACE, and a "new device" is one of the listed triggers. We explain how ACE reads hardware and where spoofers fit in our ACE and spoofer guide and in the Crooked Spoofer review.
Coordinate encryption and the DMA hardware blacklist
DMA Guard is the visible part. The less visible part came in the Season 6 Security Report on September 28. In it Morefun lists new coordinate encryption aimed at major DMA plugins, hardware detection, and a database of blacklisted DMA hardware. Over the season, the team says it updated plugin protection 772+ times and that 2,543+ cheats stopped working.
For a DMA player this changes the math. Classic cheat risk lives in the account: you get banned, you make a new account. A blacklist of DMA hardware moves part of the risk onto the card and its firmware. If a specific card or firmware signature is flagged, a fresh account on the same setup does not start from zero.
Device bans in the Bans Notices
Device and IP bans have their own column in the biweekly Bans Notices, and the trend is up:
| Bans Notice | Period | Cheating bans | 10-year bans | Device/IP bans |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sep 9 | Aug 24 to Sep 6 | 11,686 | 2,029 | 959 |
| Sep 23 | Sep 7 to Sep 20 | 8,788 | 1,409 | 820 |
| Oct 14 | Sep 28 to Oct 11 | 10,848 | 3,706 | 1,744 |
In the latest notice device bans more than doubled against the previous one. The notices also describe real-time bans together with retro checks of suspicious accounts based on historical data, so a setup that looked fine last week can still be reviewed later. Season 6 as a whole closed with 45,000+ cheating penalties and 8,000+ 10-year bans. For the account side of these numbers, see why ABI bans happen and how HWID bans work.
Are DMA cheats for Arena Breakout still alive?
Yes, with a higher stake. Both DMA builds in our catalog are marked undetected at the time of writing. We do not claim they are invisible to DMA Guard or to the coordinate encryption, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What we can tell you is what the cards say and how we would approach a DMA purchase in the current state of ACE:
- Test before committing. Start with a short period on your own hardware and see how your card and firmware behave after the latest patch.
- Keep the gaming PC's VT-d or IOMMU switched on if DMA Guard asks. Ignoring the prompt only keeps you out of raids, it does not make the check go away.
- Do not move the same card between many accounts. If the hardware is flagged, every account on it is exposed.
- Watch the status column. When ACE ships a change that affects DMA, the build goes on update and we pause key sales until it is fixed.
DMA builds and non-DMA alternatives
Both DMA products need the same setup: a DMA card, firmware made for ACE, and a second computer that runs the cheat. Windows 10 or 11 on the gaming side. Neither has an aimbot.
| Build | Type | What stands out | Status | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PHYS DMA | DMA | Combat Mode hides ESP on a key, loot ESP with prices, safe timers | Undetected | $5/day, $20/week, $40/month |
| BBC DMA | DMA | 72 settings for ESP, loot and containers, squad ID, bots on a separate layer, 2D radar | Undetected | $50/month |
| GHOST LEGIT | Regular | Thermal visor on F1, adjustable norecoil on F2, no ESP or aim | On update | $4/day, $12/week, $24/month |
PHYS DMA: pay by the day while you test
PHYS DMA is the one we point new DMA buyers to, mostly because of the daily price. For $5 you find out whether your card and firmware get along with the current ACE before paying $40 for a month. Player ESP shows name, character type, distance, boxes, skeleton, health and weapon with rounds in the magazine. Loot ESP lists ground items with name, price and distance, containers with contents, and timers on safes. Combat Mode is the useful bit in a fight: one key hides player and loot ESP so you aim at a clean screen.
BBC DMA: for people who like settings
BBC DMA comes as a monthly key at $50 and has 72 settings across ESP, loot and containers. Every target shows a squad ID, so you can tell which players belong together, and bots sit on their own ESP layer. The 2D radar can hide bots completely when the map is crowded with AI, and an angle radar warns you about the direction of an enemy.
No DMA hardware? Look at web radars or a legit build
If you do not own a DMA card, buying one right after a hardware blacklist went live is a hard sell. A web radar gives you map awareness from a browser instead: LOVEC WEB RADAR or COURIERSCRIPT WEB RADAR both keep the game screen clean. Read our radar article first, because sharing a radar with teammates is now punished separately. Another route is GHOST LEGIT, a quiet build with a thermal visor and norecoil for the Game Launcher, Steam and Epic Games, windowed or borderless. It is on update at the moment, so wait for the undetected badge.

DMA Guard FAQ
Does the DMA Guard message mean I am banned?
No. It is a request to enable VT-d (Intel) or IOMMU (AMD) in BIOS. Once Windows Kernel DMA Protection is active, the game should let you play. The prompt itself says nothing about a violation on your account.
Why did I get the check and my friend did not?
Morefun says DMA Guard targets accounts with unusual or risky login conditions first, such as frequent network changes, account sharing or a new device. Your friend's setup may simply look stable to the system.
Will enabling VT-d or IOMMU lower my FPS?
According to Morefun, no. The feature is described as having no effect on performance or privacy. If your PC already struggles, our weak PC guide for ABI covers settings that help.
Can a DMA card get blacklisted?
The Season 6 Security Report says Morefun keeps a database of blacklisted DMA hardware and uses hardware detection. That is why we recommend testing short periods first and not moving one card across many accounts. Check the current list of ABI cheats before you buy, as statuses change after patches.
All prices and statuses in this article were checked in October 2026.
